I grew up with hard rock and metal as my elder sister forced me to memorize all the names and masks of the Kiss-members. But when she introduced me to Accept records, something went of in my head and soon a new world opened to me: Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, Stone, Black Sabbath, Helloween, Dio, Ozzy and many other great metal band became a huge part of my (musical) life.
My one and only everlasting source of inspiration for playing guitar is Randy Rhoads. He is the very reason I started playing metal . The main riff in Crazy Train was easy enough to encourage me to carry on with more complicated stuff.
In my twenties I decided to put the guitar aside and focus on studies and professional career in media. I never stopped playing, but I was musically inactive for a long time. Some ten years ago I started to practice hard again. I felt that I want to see how far I could go with my playing, but it took a while to find a perfect match to do it.
The first time I heard an Astralion-song was after reading their wanted a member -notice on a local website. The opening track of their debut album, Mysterious & Victorious, made me smile, but the further I went on with the record, the smile turned into a-what-the-fuck-is-this-feeling. I was really blown a way by their music, and I instantly knew that I have to be part of this band.
All the action I have seen around this band so far, has proven me that we have potential to go far. I´m very happy to be a part of this band.
